Following the recent relaunch of our brand and website, here at Elan we are going from strength to strength in the world of marketing communications and are delighted to announce that we have recently acquired several key accounts, including medical sector insurance and investment specialists, The Hurst Group.
We were selected by The Hurst Group as their chosen agency for an initial brand development project following a four way pitch for work on their Doctor, Pulse and Dental brands. The brands had recently undergone a logo rework carried out by a former agency.
Having spent considerable time and financial investment on marketing effort that was providing an ever decreasing return on investment, Hurst sought the services of an additional marketing company to provide a fresh approach to their target market and in
communicating the key benefits to the end user. Through our support and development of the overall brand style, The Hurst Group are now overhauling their advertising campaigns and increasing their online presence using a trio of micro websites (one for each company).
Each site has been specifically designed and built by our in-house creative and web development team to maximise website traffic and stickiness. The sites each have a bespoke built, backend database enabling online quotations to be generated and allowing GPs, dentists and other medical professionals and practices to make online applications for their professional cover insurance products.
We have also devised a range of highly targeted advertising campaigns and product literature to support the websites and further develop brand style with strong marketing communication directions whilst maintaining
the cohesion for all three brands.
The websites and literature were launched throughout July and August. Together with Hurst, we are currently monitoring and evaluating the success of the advertising campaigns. A full campaign roll out is planned for January through to June 2011, with the objective of further increasing traffic to, and enquiries via, the websites. This will include an expansion of the campaigning to incorporate direct mail and e-marketing (with promotional techniques), all designed to compliment the existing marketing effort.
Gerry Berncastel, Director of The Hurst Group, comments: “We are more than satisfied with the work that Elan have done, and are continuing to do. I believe that we have found a company with whom we can work and who understands our markets, and perhaps the unique way in which we do business.“
